At the Faculty of political sciences in Belgrade on March 24th 2017 the final conference of TEMPUS SHESPSS project named “Strengthening higher education for development of social policy and improving social services” was held.

On the final conference the results of the past three years on the project were presented. The meeting was dedicated to academic community, professional workers in the system of social protection, as well as to the employees in the institutions and organisations that are in charge of creating social policies and providing social services for the purpose of promotion and presentation of project results.

The most important presented results that were achieved via this program are the newly formed courses in the field of social policy and social work at the universities of Nis and Novi Sad, as well as innovative program at the University of Belgrade, but there is more. It was also pointed out how there were advancements in the publications of the content necessary for successful execution of lectures, work on regulations of student mobility, and work on standard qualification in the field.

Apart from native and foreign partners the meeting was attended by over 90 attendants. Final conference was registered in the chamber of social protection of Serbia as an international professional meeting, which scores for acquiring licence for doing professional work in social protection.

At conference representatives from all partner institutions were speaking about individual achievements, but also about the approach and process to achieving results on this project.
